Bart's Minute Muffler & Maintenance

Rolled in here on our way from Kamloops to Calgary when we heard a weird sound on our rear wheel. Turns out our calliper seized. Lucky we noticed before we hit the mountain passes. They were booked solid, but pulled two guys off lunch to replace our rotors, pads and callipers. They had us on our way in a few hours. Super service, clean and friendly shop. They seem to have good roots in the local community as everyone coming in and out were treated more like friends than customers. Highly recommend this shop!

It's rare that you can consider yourself lucky to have your car fall apart in the middle of a vacation, and yet that's exactly what happened. I had just come into town to get coffee and my very rusty exhaust pipe finally gave up, rotted off my muffler, and was dragging on the ground. It wasn't the first time - it's been plaguing me since shortly after I bought it and new mufflers for AWD Matrixes are hard to find, so it's been patched and re-patched. I was right outside Fountain Tire and they wired it up for me, but didn't have time to do anything else. He recommended Bart's and gave me directions, and I limped the car over to them. They were just breaking for lunch, but told me they would look at it right away after. I spent the time going over my bank account and available credit, trying to decide what I could afford and wondering if the car would even be in shape to get me home to Vancouver. When they called with the quote and described what they were going to do for it, I was floored - the price quoted was less than a third of the minimum price I was expecting, and it would be ready the next day. They worked really hard to salvage what they could and custom-build a new exhaust pipe, and I just thought they were amazing - they should have have bonus stars for businesses like this. I made it home and everything went perfectly. I have total faith in the work done and am super happy to give these guys my full recommendation.

Wow went the extra mile and did a very good job on my 08 diesel truck.The mechanic noticed a place that he could add an extra bracket and did so. Billing was more than fair. I will be going back for more work . Oh and the owner and staff listen a forgotten skill. Thanks again

Dave and Sarah squeezed my daughters car in while here on holiday when the pipe cracked at outlet of converter. I made a mess of it before taking it in to Barts. They fixed it and the work was top notch for a very reasonable price.. Good to see a business that isnt interested in the Highest dollar fix they can perform.Super pleased thank you both.Dan Begon

Big thanks to the team at Barts. They not only fixed my muffler problems but came in much less than anticipated and gave clear communication and great service. The whole team was awesome and my repairs were done just a few hours after dropping my car off. I would def recommend contacting them if you need any work on your car in the Salmon Arm area.

Dave the owner went way above and beyond for us, we had an electrical issue with our inverter in our Motorhome, Dave personally came out to troubleshoot with my husband. They figured out the problem and we fixed it.Would definitely recommend this business.

We've taken our fleet of work vehicles (and our personal vehicles) here for years and never had an issue. The staff know their stuff, repairs are prompt, and the atmosphere is very professional. Definitely recommend!
